A 40 year old male presented in clinic with right sided buttock pain. The patient described pain in the region of the right superior SIJ line and right L5/S1 facet joint, radiating inferolaterally towards the greater trochanter. There was no pain referred distal to the gluteal crease. There was no tingling, pins-and-needles or numbness. There was no reported central back pain, or left sided back pain.
